Consider having breakfast or lunch at Maplewood during your next visit. We are known for awesome food and great prices. Try our Golfers Breakfast with eggs, toast, bacon and crispy potato patties, or something lighter with a Breakfast Burger or Wrap.

Our Sandwiches are made fresh daily and we do not skimp on the fillings! We have been told that we have the best Burgers and Fries in town--give them a try. Our Fish and Chips or Chicken Fingers and Fries are also darn tasty. Don't forget to try the doughnuts.....well, they're just addictive!

Our Roots

In 1927, Jens and Dagny Rasmussen emigrated from Denmark with $50 and no real knowledge of the English language. One of his first jobs was helping to build the original 9 holes at Lakeside Golf and Country Club. After that he purchased a farm in Irishtown, north of Moncton where he made his living at farming as he had done in Denmark, until his death in 1961. While still in high school, his grandson Dale drew up a layout for a golf course on the farm property. With his brothers Ken and Steve as well as their parents Harry and Etta they worked for 4 years and opened a 9 hole course in 1983. Changes and improvements continued with 18 holes opening in 1995.
